Dieses seltene Zebra von der Firma Steiff ist 28cm hoch und aus Wollplüsch gefertigt. Die Mähne sowie auch das Schwänzchen sind aus Mohair und die Hufe sind aus hellbraunem Filz. Die Augen sind aus braun hintermaltem Glas und es besitzt eine Druckstimme die noch immer einwandfrei funktioniert.
Das Zebra ist unbespielt mit sehr schönen und kräftigen Farben. Jedoch an den Filzen sind vier kleine Löchlein anzumerken. Es hat noch seinen Steiff Knopf im Ohr und wenn man ganz genau hinsieht erkennt man die abgeschnittene US-Zonen Fahne in der Naht des einen Vorderbeines. So kann man dieses Zebra exakt auf das Jahr 1953 datieren.

This very hard to find big zebra by the Steiff Company is 28cm (11") high and made of plush wool. The mane and the tail are made of mohair and the hooves are made of lightbrown felt. The eyes are made of brown backpainted glass and it has a press voice, wich is still functioning properly.
The zebra is clean and absolutly unplayed with very beautiful and bright colors. However, at the felts are four small holes noted. It still has its Steiff button in the ear and if you look exactly do you recognize the cut US-Zone flag in the seam of one frontleg.
So we can date this zebra exactly to the year 1953.
